Project HOPE is a global health and humanitarian relief organization. They partner with communities, health care workers, and public health systems to ensure sustainable change. Project HOPE works in five main areas: disasters and health crises; infectious diseases; noncommunicable diseases; maternal, neonatal and child health; and health policy. HOPE= Health Opportunities for People Everywhere.
UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), the UN Agency, is a politically neutral humanitarian UN agency mandated by the United Nations to lead and coordinate international action for the worldwide protection of refugees and find durable solutions. They are dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people.
The International Organization for Migration was established in 1951. IOM undertakes various activities in response to the needs of migrants, internally displaced persons, persons returning to their countries of origin, and host communities. IOM has been operating in Poland since 2002 under an agreement with the Polish government and implements various migration programs, including activities supporting the integration of migrants with the Polish society.
Medair is an organization inspired by Christian faith to save lives and relieve human suffering in the world’s most difficult-to-reach and devastated places. They employ experts in health and nutrition; shelter and infrastructure; water, sanitation, and hygiene. They also provide cash assistance that enables families to meet their basic needs quickly during crises.
Empowering Children Foundation is a non-governmental organization in Poland that comprehensively deals with the issues of violence and sexual abuse of children. They provide children and their guardians with support in the form of prevention programs, help hotlines, and Aid Centers. They also engage in Polish law and report on the violence in Poland.
NorSensus Mediaforum is a non-profit media association located in Norway to enhance and improve the practice of media and information literacy, advocacy, and civic participation in society with primary focus on the empowerment of young people and socially deprived groups as well as supporting strategic communication capacity of civil society.
Premiere Urgence Internationale is a French, non-profit international NGO that helps to defend the fundamental rights of people who are marginalized or excluded as a result of natural disasters, war, and economic collapse so they can regain independence and dignity.
Soleterre is an Italian non-profit international NGO organization that works for the recognition and application of the right to health in its broadest meaning. They provide medical care and assistance, protection and promotion of psycho-physical well-being, improve living and working conditions, promote social and political participation.
