The Sisterhood Festival was held in Rzeszow on the last weekend of March 2023 (24.03, 25.03, 26.03). Workshops, meetings, discussion circles, and attractions will be conducted by psychologists, anti-discrimination trainers, social activists and experienced personal development trainers. All activities will be conducted in Polish and Ukrainian. Everyone is welcome to attend and all of the events are free.
During the Festival, participants will be able to learn more about themselves, discover new talents, learn about ways to increase the quality of life, the importance of good mental health, learn about the benefits of having a sisterhood, and feel the power of mutual understanding.
The event is held within the framework of the „Polish-Ukrainian Sisterhood” project. During the festival, people interested in participating in the project will be able to obtain information on how to sign up.
Description of the workshops:
HOW TO SET BOUNDARIES AND DEFEND THEM?
Assertiveness is an art worth mastering. We invite you to a workshop where you will learn how to set your boundaries and how to defend them against other people.
WHO AM I? HOW DO OTHERS SEE ME?
Who are you to others? What impression do you make on them? Get to know yourself and your relationships during a unique workshop that will allow you to look at yourself from a completely different perspective.
HOW TO FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS? MEETING WITH A LAWYER.
Meeting with a lawyer is a great opportunity to learn about your rights and what steps to take if others violate them.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A MAN? WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A WOMAN?
What does it mean to be a man and what does it mean to be a woman? During the workshop we will talk about how stereotypes and cultural expectations influence our perception of gender.
WHO IS PRIVILEGED AND WHO IS NOT?
