Relaxation classes
Relaxation classes use modern techniques and methods for helping children cope with stress and tension. Their goal is to achieve a state of relaxation by relieving physiological and mental-emotional tensions. During the class we work on: slowing down the rhythm of breathing, quieting thoughts, relaxing the muscles of the body, and removing internal tension. Our specialists do this in a way that is easy, fast, and comfortable for everyone. Through relaxation, the right hemisphere of the brain, responsible for imagination and creative thinking is activated.
For who?
For children teens, and young adults who:
- have mental and physical fatigue.
- experience a variety of difficulties. For example; hyperactivity, emotional tension, timidness, high sensitivity, lack of ability to express emotions, having experienced difficulty, health problems, developmental problems.
- have experienced the effects of war, forced emigration, or are experiencing other crises.
What are the benefits?
- Relaxation classes for children have many advantages:
- They help relieve negative emotions and provide an opportunity to relax, de-stress, and calm down.
- After the class, feelings of fear and nervousness can diminish, and be replaced by calmness and understanding.
- When children are relaxed, they are better able to adapt to a new life, learn a new language, interact with others, increase their learning speed and ability to come up with creative solutions.
How is it done at TUTU?
All classes are conducted by professional specialists after diagnosis and examination of the needs of a child (and their family). We use various methods of art therapy, music therapy, individual psychological consultations, Snoezelen room activities, polysensory training, etc.
