Consultations with a psychologist

A visit to a psychologist can help when dealing with a very difficult moment, as well as, dealing with everyday problems and stressors. 

Going to a psychologist doesn’t mean you’re weak or clumsy. It’s a decision that shows you’re willing to fight for your mental health, which is just as important as your physical health.

The goal of psychological support is to help you get out of a crisis situation, to increase your self-confidence and skills, to increase your sense of security, your ability to cope with difficult life situations, and to perform various social roles.

For who?

  • cope with various problems such as stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma
  • better understand yourself and your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors
  • build self-confidence and increase self-esteem
  • develop an action plan and learn how to deal with difficult situations in the future.

How is it done at TUTU?

The first contact you will have with a specialist will be during a consultation with a psychologist. This usually requires more than one meeting: typically 1 to 3 sessions. These can also be done spread out over time.

Throughout the consultation, the causes of the difficulties expressed by the individual will be identified. Based on the information obtained, the psychologist provides guidelines for further proceedings. One full psychological consultation at the TUTU Center lasts 60 minutes.
