The second stage of recruitment of municipalities to participate in the project „Subcarpathian Culture without Barriers” has ended.
Out of 15 municipalities, 5 were selected that met the requirements of the accepted criteria for participation in the project:
- Location outside major cities,
- location near the border strip,
- involvement of representatives of ethnic and/or national minorities in the implementation of events,
- financial contribution of their own.
Municipalities that qualified for participation in the project:
- Świlcza Municipality
- Kołaczyce Municipality
- Niwiska Municipality
- Narol Municipality
- Czarna Łańcucka Municipality

On July 3, work on building a strategy in the area of culture will begin with 5 teams from these unusual places on the map of Subcarpathian.
The project called „Subcarpathian Culture without Barriers” benefits from a grant worth EUR 313,842.82 received from Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway under the EEA and Norwegian funds. The total value of the project, including contributions, is PLN 1,685,963.64.
