A Carefree Place
A Carefree Place
“Children have a powerful inner capacity to overcome adversity and move toward growth and maturity. They only need our conscious support. Playing in a safe environment is one of the most important things the children need in their lives (refugees from Ukraine)…let’s organize spaces where parents can come with their children, leave them under professional care, and during that time, take care of themselves. They can take care of their own needs because they have secured their children’s needs”
Dr. Małgorzata Turczyk, Institute of Pedagogy of the Jagiellonian University
The Podkarpackie Association for Active Families and the Pomosty Foundation created a common room „Miejsce Beztroski” (A Carefree Place) where children from Poland and Ukraine will have space to play and develop. Activities in the space are free.
